The Borough Administrator is a part-time position that was created by Resolution in June 2016. The Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Borough’s business affairs as well as responding to specific requests from its residents, second homeowners and visitors.
In addition to implementing the administrative and legislative decisions of the Commissioners, the Administrator works directly with other staff and appointed professionals in developing the strategic planning and policy oversight components of Borough business.
Working with the Commissioners and Chief Financial Officer, the Borough Administrator plays a key role in the preparation of the Borough’s annual operating and capital budgets. The Administrator may also be assigned other executive and administrative duties that are determined to improve Borough services and promote more effective use of resources.
